Terre Du Soleil Sauvignon Blanc
Terre Du Soleil Sauvignon Blanc From The South of France
Grape variety: 95% Sauvignon Blanc, 5% Vermentino
From: Languedoc-Roussillon, France
This is light and vivacious Sauvignon Blanc at its most approachable, coming in at an immensely quaffable 12% ABV. It's typical Sauvignon on the palate, with a citrus core supported by a touch of grassy herbaceousness, underscored all the way by the grape's hallmark fresh acidity. The inclusion of 5% Vermentino to the blend (in southern France known locally as Rolle) brings an extra zesty note, with a subtle floral character to the nose. Delightfully moreish and easy drinking, this is an excellent wine for whiling away those vacant evening hours outside in the summer.
In the winery, the grapes were fermented cool to retain the natural fruit flavours. No animal-based fining agents or winery aids were used during the vinification.
